Sponsorship Requests for 2019

Portland Harbour Authority Limited is herewith inviting individuals, organisations, clubs and other local societies who are interested in being sponsored by the Authority in 2019, to advise us in writing, outlining their requests.

Portland Harbour Authority has limited available funds for local sponsorships and regrets that it will probably not be able to meet everyone’s needs.  Therefore, if you are interested in being sponsored by Portland Harbour Authority then please write to:

All applications for sponsorship must be received no later than Tuesday 20 November 2018 and must include the reason for the request and the monetary amount requested.

The Directors of the Company will consider and decide the sponsorship awards for 2019 at the December Board Meeting and will thereafter advise successful applicants only in writing no later than 14 January 2019.

Ian McQuade General Manager - Commercial for Portland Port has just returned from Belgium where he visited Zeebrugge Port and Bruges. They were the hosts to the Cruise Europe Annual General Meeting and Conference from 4-7 March 2019. Whilst the AGM was held in Bruges the Conference was held at the new ABC-Tower multipurpose terminal in the Port of Zeebrugge. Top executives of leading cruise companies as well as port representatives all came together for one of the most important annual meetings of the Northern European Cruise Industry.
