A kitesurfing permit also covers you for windsurfing/foiling, SUP and kayak activities in the harbour.

Where to Learn
The Osprey Training Centre is the RYA accredited windsurfing school affiliated to the Official Test Centre (OTC) - the windsurfing partner of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA). The school can teach all abilities, from the complete beginner to hosting many Pro Clinics throughout the year. In as little as 2 hours, you can learn the basics of the sport and get going, taking part in one of the school’s tasters. Click here for more information.
Where to Hire

Where to Launch
The WPNSA offer day launch permits, which includes parking, use of the carpeted rigging-area and changing / shower facilities and the harbour dues launch-cost. If you are thinking of coming down regularly it is worth investigating their annual membership.
Ferrybridge is the other option - parking costs varying the length of your stay and harbour dues are required to be paid at the local shop - Weymouth Watersports and Ferrybridge Marine.
