Where to Learn

The Official Test Centre (OTC) is the RYA accredited windsurfing school, located within the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA). The school can teach all abilities, from the complete beginner to hosting many Pro Clinics throughout the year. In as little as 2 hours, you can learn the basics of the sport and get going, taking part in one of the school’s tasters. Click here for more information.

Where to Hire

The OTC, within the grounds of the WPNSA, have the very latest windsurfing and SUP equipment from all the major brands to hire, test and compare for yourself. For more information visit: http://uk.otc-windsurf.com.

Where to Launch

The WPNSA offer day launch permits, which includes parking, use of the carpeted rigging-area and changing / shower facilities and the harbour dues launch-cost. If you are thinking of coming down regularly it is worth investigating their annual membership.
Ferrybridge is the other option - parking costs varying the length of your stay and harbour dues are required to be paid at the local shop - Weymouth Watersports and Ferrybridge Marine.
